Welcome to New York! Day 2

Hey it's day 2! Since mahirap makahanap ng parking sa New York or minsan or lagi?  traffic ganun. We decided to ride the subway instead and siyempre your New York experience wouldn't be complete without trying that one. Tho hindi siya ganun kalinis but still the experience was priceless. Also you get to see certain people na nag papakita ng talent nila sa stations and you will just be amazed.

So anyways, our first stop was the World Trade Center and in there we visited the 9/11 Memorial. Who wouldn't forget that tragic moment that has been part of America's history. I'm amazed that they give importance and honor to those victims during the 9/11 bombing. In that 9/11 Memorial there are engraved names that surrounds the North and the South Pool.

Next stop was The Statue of Liberty. First you need to buy your tickets before you get to the ferry going to Ellis Island where the Statue of Liberty lies.It cost $18.00/each and after that you will have to go through a long line with bunch of people and a security protocol it is where you put your stuff in the scanner and they will also check or scan your body. After that, you can now board in the ferry I suggest to go on the top deck for you to enjoy the view that surrounds it.

While riding the ferry there will be an audio that they will play, it is a brief history about the Statue of Liberty also I remember that the statue was a gift from France.

Upon arriving you'll have an up close look of the Statue of Liberty. You will see a souvenir shop, comfort room if you want to freshen up because it is very hot that time siyempre ayaw nyong mahaggard sa pictures di ba? Ayun may parang food court din if you're hungry and I suggest na mas magandang kumain kayo sa labas there are tables and chair provided outside and besides you can enjoy the view and it is windy so yung init tolerable naman.

So you know, when your friends are so arte and they're like..... Kidding hahahahah.

After the Statue of Liberty we headed to the nearest train station and find the Little Italy in the Grand Street. In there we had some snacks and tried the famous Cannoli at Cafe Palermo and of course your visit in NYC wouldn't be complete without tasting the New York Cheesecake.

New York Cheesecake $7.50/slice

Cannolli $ 5.00/each

Macarooooons!!!!!!!!! $10 for 2 (Im not sure but yeah)

Beat the heat with this coffee flavored gelato for only $ 7.00

After the Little Italy experience we headed to see New York Times Square but we realized that we can still have some time to stroll so we checked out to see some shoe store and after that will go to NYC Times Square.

That ends on day 2. I hope you enjoyed reading my blog. I'll get you posted on day 3, we went to the Empire State Building which is superb!! Mwaahhh..

Welcome to New York! Day 1

"Welcome to New York
It's been waiting for you
Welcome to New York
Welcome to New York

It's a new soundtrack

I could dance to this beat, beat
Forever more
The lights are so bright"

Taylor Swift's song "Welcome to New York" is playing on my effin' head. Hahahaha. Just wanted to share with you guys my experience. Traveling in a place full of lights, NEW YORK City.

I must say i am very much lucky to experience this travel with my kalog friends and one of my friend's relative took care of us while we were there. (Thanks to Tito Tonio and Tita Tess) Anyways, so our first day was very tiring, we visited a lot of places and went SHOPPING!! (as always LOL Hahahha) so at 10:00 am in the morning we left Howard Johnson (the inn that we stayed in) Oh by the way it is located in Jamaica Avenue, Queens Village NY so anyways, Tito Tony drove all the way from Long Island to New Jersey and we went to Atlantic City. It is known for its many casinos, restaurants, wide beaches, and the most iconic Boardwalk.

At the back was their wide beach but we didn't get to have a closer look because it was very windy at that time. Nakakapuwing ganon.. Hahahhaa

We also went shopping at the Tanger Outlets, The Walk. My friends and I actually regretted buying a lot of stuff at the Outlets in the Dells because Tanger Outlets is much bigger it's like a town with a lot of boutique stuff.

I only bought few kasi i don't want to put too much risk about having an over baggage. So medyo hinay hinay lang. I bought Fossil wallet for my Dad, a sling bag from Nine West, 2 shorts from H&M and i forgot that gray plastic bag. Hihihi sarreehh..

And ofcourse a shopping galore wouldnt be complete without visiting a huge Nike store in the Tanger Outlet.

That's my best friend over there, hi Tim!

Since our travel time was a bit long going back to New York City, and our GPS didn't work properly that is why we went lost ng onti we were going circles while looking for Jollibee and we were also got tired we decided to go back to our hotel. I will be continuing this travel diary on Day 2.  Thanks for reading!

My Ulta Haul 2016

Hey guys! So I know everyone has been obsessed with makeup stuff lately, I wanted to show you guys my Ulta makeup Haul. I had a chance to go to New York last June 12th (Will post soon about my New York travel hahahah) and one of my new friend told me about Ulta it's a store of cosmetics and beauty products so we went there. Im gonna be showing you guys what i got but too bad i misplaced the receipt so yeah im so sorry. Also, keep in mind that im not a makeup guru just wanted to share because sharing is caring. WHUUUT? AHHAHA

Stuff for my sissy!

I also bought stuff for my sister but I'm gonna be showing you the stuff that I bought for myself.

So here it is! first thing that i got was the Primer from Revlon PHOTOREADY Perfecting Primer. This primer is my favorite because it covers imperfections in your skin. I used this before already and for me it has great results.

Next thing that i got was the Fit Me! foundation from Maybelline. (im not sure if it is available here in the Philippines) I haven't tried this product yet because I'm still using Maybelline's Dream Satin Foundation but if you want me to try it just leave a comment :) I also got Fit Me! Blush in shade 208 Medium Nude. I love the shade of this because it gives you a natural cheeky blush.

I am a beginner when it comes to "contouring" so i bought this small contouring kit from Nyx. It's called Nyx Sculpt & Highlight, I wanted to learn and try the science of contouring WHUUT? Kidding so yeah if you want me to post a tutorial just leave a comment. I will try my best!
For me this product is for beginners out there because it's very handy, it is just like a small wand so yeah. It's cool!

The next item that I got was a pressed powder from Revlon Nearly Naked in shade 030 Medium Moyen. Well i also haven't tried this but it looks promising tho. But before, I was using Revlon Colorstay i forgot what shade anyways, it got stolen from me. The pouch that was in my bag was stolen when i was walking near our school so yeah funny story tho.

Of course next is for the eyebrows! Hahahhaa. What i got was from Maybelline New York's Brow Precise in the shade of Deep Brown and Brow Drama Sculpting brow mascara in Deep Brown as well. I haven't tried this yet but when I am still learning how to do eyebrow makeups I used Maybelline's Fashion Brow 24H Coloring Mascara I started with that and I tend to love Maybelline New York's product.

Here's another eyebrow makeup that I got. It's from Nyx Eye and Eyebrow Pencil and Nyx Tinted Brow Mascara.

And last thing, lippies! These products are very pigmented and a creamy mattes so it's worth your money. Maybelline New York's Rich Ruby, Lust for Blush, and Wet n Wild's Rose-Bud.

So a while a go i tried 3 makeup products that i got from Ulta (highlighted in pinkish red). This is what it looks like! Hehehe bear with me im not a pro and sorry for the messy hair.

Coffee Crawl?

You guys might be wondering what is "Coffee Crawl". Well it is where you visit bunch of coffee shops in a day and yeah let's have part 1!

First stop? Coffee Empire. It is one of the first 3rd wave coffee shop in the Philippines, it is located along the stretch of West Avenue in Quezon City. Their advocacy is promoting 3rd wave coffee concept here in the Philippines because Filipinos tend to love 2nd wave style of coffee shop. The main theme of the coffee shop is double deep wood, and it has a cozy ambiance. Passion, wisdom and knowledge is their key to serving great coffee. But coffee is not only the good stuff here in Coffee Empire, their food is also great and mouthwatering. Coffee Empire is like the fine dining of coffee shops. Coffee empire roast their coffee by their own, creating a wonderful blend of 20 varieties of coffee from around the world. Only few coffee shops has their own roaster here in the Philippines so it is kind of amazing.

They also have a room called “The Green Room”, in here you can see lots of different varieties of green coffee ready to be roasted. It is temperature controlled to keep their moisture for the coffee beans to be fresh because coffee beans are so sensitive when it comes to temperature. Indonesia, Konga, Brazil, Benguet, Sagada, Panama and Colombia are just some of examples of their great coffee that is served in Coffee Empire.

The coffee bar in Coffee Empire is the most wonderful place in the shop because the barista and the customer can interact easily, the baristas can explain the coffee that is being served to the customers, this is one of the method of Coffee Empire to promote the 3rd wave coffee concept in the Philippines. The people behind coffee empire are one of the most renowned name in the Food and Beverage industry in the Philippines, so there is no doubt that Coffee Empire is one of the greatest coffee shop and restaurant in the Philippines.

My favorite drink is their Iced Mocha. Well don't surprised if they don't have fraps or blended coffee drinks in their menu. That's what a 3rd wave coffee shop is. But it makes a difference.

Oreo Muffin, Carbonara, Wrong Sandwich

Well I will see you guys on our next Coffee crawling!! Try it with your friends.
